Weddings in a welcoming and well cared for setting
From the restoration of the original farmstead two completely independent reception halls have been obtained. Firstly the enchanting Monterosa hall which is can accommodate more than 200 people. The large Sail structure outside the hall will be used for aperitifs. Secondly, The new Grandi Firme Hall that can accommodate up to 110 people with the aperitif served in the Jasmine court. In order to keep service at the highest level we won't plan weddings in both halls simultaneously.
In the winter season the Cascina will be dedicated to a single wedding, with the aperitif served in the evocative rooms of the restaurant – the hearth room and the veranda – and lunch in the Monterosa hall.
The staging in the park
The aperitifs will be served under the great sails immersed in the park or in the Jasmine Court. The park is available for photo shoots.
Stylish and Elegant tables.
Depending on the room the color of our tablecloth will change, with aquamarine or ivory colored veils and matching under plates. At request it is possible to choose the style of chair covers, tablecloths and under plates.
A traditional cuisine.
The cuisine of the Cascina Diodona combines quality, lightness and tradition. Small islands will separate each different thematic area. These areas are: the aperitif, seasonal fried vegetables and the delicacies such as – cakes, focaccias and Vol Au Vent -. Small glasses with cheese cream and vegetables are served with small pieces of meat cooked by wood fire on a spit. Each sort of pasta is homemade with fresh biological products. Risottos will be served according to tradition in a large copper casserole. Nonetheless, the true specialty of the Cascina Diodona is the broiling of the meat on large spits visible by the guest. The meat is hand cut and prepared in front of the guest themselves. Wines and Spumanti's are from the greatest Italian producers and the cakes come from the best bakeries in the region.
