Receptions in the Limonaia
In the upperpart of the estate, among the woods and the orchard, there is a special and enchanting location for your events. The "Limonaia", is a splendid greenhouse with glass windows able to accommodate up to 150 people, open from April untill October. The Limonaia is accessible from an independent parking space and is closed to other guests of The Cascina. The Limonaia is overlooked by an ancient tower, which is nestled among secular hornbeams and a short distance from a pond inhabited by geese and ducks.
Staging of the park
Aperitifs are served outdoors under the large sail structure between the woods and the greenhouse. Guests are welcomed under the sail with open-air aperitifs, while the large spits broil the meat and the magical light of the sunset accompanies the reception. On request it is possible to choose furniture, open bar with a barman and light design thanks to the collaboration of highly qualified service suppliers.

A traditional cuisine
The cuisine of the Cascina Diodona combines quality, lightness and tradition. Small islands will separate each different thematic area. These areas are: the aperitif, seasonal fried vegetables and the delicacies such as – cakes, focaccias and Vol Au Vent -. Small glasses with cheese cream and vegetables are served with small pieces of meat cooked by wood fire on a spit. Each sort of Pasta is homemade with fresh biological products. Risottos will be served according to tradition in a large copper casserole. Nonetheless, the true specialty of the Cascina Diodona is the broiling of the meat on large spits visible by the guest. The meat is hand cut and prepared in front of the guest themselves. Wines and Spumanti's are from the greatest Italian producers and the cakes come from the best bakeries in the region.
